In the framework of the Forum the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with Scientific Research and Education Center “Green Academy” and UNEP Kazakhstan hold the panel session “Green Bridge Partnership Programme: prospects and tools”.The main organizeres of this event are the Ministry of energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and “Astana EXPO-2017” National company.

Octobre 23-24, 2014 à Astana le Forum international EXPO-2017 "Future Energy: la réduction des émissions de CO2» a été réalisée. Dans le cadre du Forum du Ministère de l'énergie de la République du Kazakhstan en collaboration avec la recherche scientifique et Centre de formation "Green Academy" et le PNUE Kazakhstan tenir la table ronde «Programme de partenariat Green Bridge: perspectives et outils". Les principaux organizeres de cette événement sont le ministère de l'énergie de la République du Kazakhstan et «Astana EXPO-2017" société nationale.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing countries can generate significant growth and create jobs by seizing a potential $1.6 trillion market opportunity in clean technology.

Latin America and Africa are among the largest markets for SMEs in clean technology with potential market sizes of $349 billion and $235 billion respectively.

SMEs are key drivers of job creation. Clean technology jobs compare favorably to jobs in other sectors, being on average more skilled, safer, and better paid. Countries must take key policy actions to fully realize this growth potential.

La plus grande mobilisation pour le climat de l'histoire.

Hier, cette mobilisation a a réuni des centaines de milliers de personnes à New York et dans plus de 2000 autres endroits du globe. Il ne pouvait pas y avoir de preuve d'amour plus impressionnante pour tout ce que le changement climatique menace - et quelle belle manière de témoigner de l'espoir que nous partageons tous: celui de sauver ce monde et de construire une société basée sur une économie viable resptectueuse de la Nature et de l'Humain.

Press briefing on preparations for Climate Summit 2014

More than 120 Heads of State and Government will be attending the one-day Summit hosted by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to generate political will toward a meaningful universal climate agreement in 2015, and advance action on the ground that will reduce emissions and build resilience to the impacts of climate change.

The Summit will mark the first time in five years that world leaders will get together to chart a bold, new course of action on climate change. The Secretary-General has asked leaders to announce significant and substantial initiatives to help move the world toward a path that will limit global warming.
