L'UE et la Suisse vont lier leurs marchés du carbone

Source: AFP - L'UE et la Suisse vont créer à l'horizon 2019 une passerelle entre leurs marchés d'échanges de quotas d'émissions de carbone respectifs, a annoncé mercredi la Commission européenne. Ce sera la première fois que l'Union lie son marché du carbone, le plus grand au monde, à un pays tiers. La Commission a adopté mercredi deux propositions destinées à finaliser et ratifier l'accord que devront encore adopter le Conseil de l'UE (qui représente les 28 Etats membres) et le Parlement européen.
